Job summary

Arm Limited in Trondheim welcomes motivated students for a GPU Product Engineering internship starting June 2027 for about 10 weeks. You will join the GPU Product Engineering Team to design and develop tools that accelerate product delivery and use AI-assisted development tools to solve engineering problems.

You will collaborate with teams across Europe and Asia, improve infrastructure, and automate workflows while gaining practical experience in a collaborative environment.

Arm is looking to welcome, in Trondheim, highly-motivated students who like coding. We focus on automating the boring parts of our work, so we can dedicate our time to help Arm deliver outstanding GPUs.

You would be helping us deliver tools and automation to improve the efficiency of our teams and ensure our products ship without issues!

We'd like you to bring your dedication to software development and passion for solving technical problems! In return, the team will provide a collaborative environment to grow your knowledge and expertise.

This internship begins in June 2027 for approximately 10 weeks.

What you could be doing as an Intern?

As an Intern, you will work within the GPU Product Engineering Team, contributing to the design and development of tools to accelerate the delivery of our products. You will also use modern AI-assisted development tools to solve engineering problems, improve efficiency and explore new ways of automating our workflows.

We collaborate with different teams in Europe and Asia. In a typical day, you will be improving our infrastructure, crafting new tools to further automate our internal processes and improve engineering efficiency.

We are looking for individuals who:

Are currently enrolled and studying towards an Engineering or Scientific Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PHD students welcome). Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience.

Qualities that will help your application stand out:

• Good understanding of Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Understanding of common software design patterns, algorithms and data-structures
• Interest in using AI tools to support software development, automation and problem-solving

Arm Internships require you to be enrolled in a higher education degree and be returning to your course after your internship/placement.
