Job summary

Arm Trondheim offers a hands-on graphics internship where you will contribute to Vulkan driver features, develop tests and demo apps, and collaborate with engineers across sites. You will work on tools to aid development, gain exposure to industry-grade Vulkan APIs, and participate in daily engineering practices within a supportive team.

The program targets Master’s or PhD students (or exceptional Bachelor’s) in CS/EE/Math, with C/C++ skills and Linux experience, in a flexible hybrid environment

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled towards a Master’s or PhD (or exceptional Bachelor’s) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Have some programming skills in C/C++.
• Experience with computer graphics, preferably Vulkan/OpenGL/DirectX.
• Experience in a Linux development environment.

Job description

You are probably reading this on your phone. A large share of smartphones run Arm-based graphics, powering the games you play, the videos you watch and the apps you use to stay connected. As an intern in our graphics software team, you’ll help improve the technology that billions of people rely on every day!

This internship targets students in their second to fourth years of an integrated master, and we particularly encourage second and third year students to apply. The work begins in June 2027 and lasts for approximately 10 weeks.

We are looking for individuals who:

• Are currently enrolled and studying towards a Master’s or PhD program (or an exceptional Bachelor’s student) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.


• Have some programming skills in C/C++

Qualities that will help your application stand out:

• Experience with computer graphics, preferably using Vulkan, OpenGL or DirectX


• Engagement in technical extracurriculars or programming hobby projects


• Experience in a Linux development environment

Additional Information:

Arm Internships require you to be enrolled in a higher education degree and be returning to your course after your internship/placement.
