At Pure Salmon Technology, we are developing the digital solutions of tomorrow for aquaculture with the digital platform, Njord. The platform offers functionality for monitoring, control, and analysis of land-based fish farming facilities. Responsibilities

You will work on the development and configuration of technical components in the Njord platform, with a focus on robustness, performance, and user-friendliness.

The role includes programming, system setup, and support functions.

  • Develop templates and functional modules for the Njord platform.
  • Perform testing and validation of new solutions in a sandbox environment.
  • Document procedures and newly developed features.
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of OT networks.
  • Assist with setup of server solutions (Linux/Windows).
  • Provide technical support for complex issues (3rd line support).
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for our customers.
Desired qualifications
  • Education at vocational, technical college, or bachelor level in Computer Science/Automation.
  • Experience with Ignition Perspective (Core Certification is an advantage).
  • Experience with PLC programming (ladder, block, structured text).
  • Experience with scripting (Python) and databases (PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with industrial networks and OT architecture.
  • Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and oral.
