Job summary

CHC Helikopter Services in Bergen, Norway seeks Technicians or Skilled Workers to maintain aircraft and components, ensure quality, and manage documentation. You must hold a skilled worker certificate in avionics or aircraft mechanics and an EASA B1.3 and/or B2 license.

Applicants with Sikorsky S92/AW189 type ratings and English/Norwegian language skills are preferred. Position is permanent and full-time at Bergen base.

Qualifications

• Skilled worker certificate avionics or aircraft mechanic.
• EASA Licensed B1.3 and/or B2 Engineer.
• Desirable: type ratings for Sikorsky S92 and/or AW189.
• English and Norwegian (or other Scandinavian language) communication skills.
• Experience with AMOS MRO software is an advantage.
• Awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining required authorisations for aircraft and components.
• Ensuring quality of work by self and non-certifying technicians.
• Certifying maintenance and compiling required documentation.
• Ensuring correct revision status of documentation used during maintenance.
• Staying current with amendments to company procedures and data.
• Controlling tools used during maintenance.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the work area.
• Working in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Reporting through company IT systems.
• May perform other duties within area of responsibility.
