We are excited to announce an opening for a Service Consultant - Automation.

This Offshore Automation Service Consultant will mainly work with Offshore Automation software and hardware during delivery, after-sales, and upgrade processes on current and previous versions of KM Integrated Control Systems (primarily E&P segments). The role involves extensive travel (over 100 days annually), including planned and on-call commissioning and service jobs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical education (Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma) is required. Backgrounds in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or Electrical/Electronic Technician programs are preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer orientation and service mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to expand technical knowledge across departments.
• Comfortable with frequent and extended travel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Solid understanding of control systems (e.g., PID controllers, filters).
• Experience with PLC/SCADA systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret and produce technical documentation.
• Skilled in troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems.
• Fluent in English (the official work language).
• Self-motivated with a commitment to long-term technical growth.

Tasks

• Provide high-quality support to customers via phone, email, and on-site (including offshore).
• Commission and service Offshore Automation systems and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing technical assistance.
• Participate in FATs, dry-dockings, and sea trials.
• Report equipment issues and suggest improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update CRM systems.
• Support internal teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Authority

• Prioritize and execute tasks during service trips.
• Report safety and security incidents offshore.
• Manage assigned service cases and propose product improvements.
• Proactively recommend upgrades and solutions to customers.
