Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Kongsberg is seeking a System Engineer to contribute across all project phases from FEED and tenders to execution. You will ensure system specifications, documentation, and interfaces are managed effectively, leading WP05 and coordinating with project teams.

The role requires strong multi-disciplinary knowledge, independent work capability, and leadership to drive timely, quality outcomes. Onboarding and internal development are highlighted in the program.

Qualifications

• BSc with minimum 9 years of experience, or MSc/PhD with minimum 8 years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in System Engineering or Project Engineering.
• Multidiscipline knowledge and interest.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• The System Engineer leads WP05 ensuring all documentation and activities are on time and to quality.
• During FEED and tender phases works with Tender Technical Manager translating needs into system concepts.
• After award, ensures system engineering is performed and documents are generated for the project.
• Leads and participates in solving complex technical issues across disciplines and manages interfaces.
• Prepares input to variation orders and change management processes.
