Job summary

TechnipFMC in Kongsberg, Norway, is seeking a System Engineer to join our project teams across FEED, tender and execution phases. You will manage system definitions, interfaces and documentation to ensure a coherent, lifecycle-spanning solution.

You will lead technical activities, collaborate with the Tender Technical Manager, and mentor others as required. The role requires strong discipline knowledge, ability to work independently and to lead teams through complex engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in System Engineering/Project Engineering.
• Multidiscipline knowledge and interest.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform system engineering activities per GBMS.
• Establish project system requirements and prepare for System Design Review (DR-1).
• Create/issue system documents and drawings (Design Basis/System Specification, Field Layout, P&ID’s, Outline Test Program, Spare Parts List).
• Ensure system interfaces are established and maintained to safeguard integrity and performance.
• Lead technical clarifications with the customer and participate in internal/technical meetings.
• Ensure customer/regulatory requirements are reflected in system documentation and data files.
• Contribute to verification via analysis and ROV access; prepare system test procedures.
