Job summary

DNV Shipping Advisory in Oslo is seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Consultant to lead and grow advisory projects in decarbonization, digitalization and performance optimization. You will work with shipowners, operators, ports and authorities in a global, collaborative environment.

The role offers opportunities to shape advisory services, develop market opportunities and mentor colleagues, with strong emphasis on work-life balance and professional development.

Qualifications

• MSc or equivalent in marine technology, industrial economics, or a business degree with relevant experience.
• Solid track record from the maritime sector (shipowners, operators, charterers, or consulting).
• Experience in decarbonization, energy efficiency, ship management, market analysis, strategy or digitalization.
• Experience leading projects and working directly with clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead advisory projects for decarbonization, digitalization and performance improvement.
• Identify new market needs and translate into advisory services and opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers as a trusted advisor.
• Lead and deliver strategic and analytical advice to clients and participate in developing Shipping Advisory’s direction.
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to support professional development.
