Job summary

DNV invites graduates to join the Environmental Advisory team as a Consultant for 2027. You will contribute to feasibility studies and techno-economic modelling for low- and zero-emission maritime technologies, while developing capabilities in environmental strategies and policy considerations.

The role suits recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience and involves flexible working hours with access to extensive facilities and recreational options at the Oslo area

Qualifications

• MSc in marine technology, industrial economics, environmental sciences, renewable energy, statistics, physics or relevant fields
• Strong analytical and digital skills
• Interest in maritime decarbonization, fuels, technologies, and environmental regulations
• Excellent Norwegian and English language skills
• Recent graduate or candidate with up to two years of relevant experience
• 6 weeks annual vacation

Responsibilities

• Contribute to feasibility studies of low-emission and zero-emission solutions for the maritime industry
• Perform techno-economic modelling of fuel and technology options
• Assess barriers and drivers for the transition to low-GHG fuels and technologies
• Assist clients in developing environmental strategies and implementation approaches
• Prepare clear, well-structured analyses and reports
• Support client engagement, proposal development and other business development activities
• Position is intended for recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience
