DNV Maritime Environmental Advisory is seeking a recent graduate to support environmental technology analyses and policy guidance. You will contribute to studies on low-GHG fuels, decarbonization strategies, and regulatory implications, working with an interdisciplinary team to deliver actionable recommendations.

The role emphasizes analytical rigour, written communication, and collaboration with clients across the maritime sector.

Qualifications

MSc in marine technology, industrial economics, natural and environmental sciences, renewable energy, statistics, physics or other relevant fields.
Strong analytical and digital skills and the ability to structure information and communicate clearly in writing.
Initiative and curiosity; motivation to learn about maritime decarbonization.
Excellent Norwegian and English language skills.

Responsibilities

Feasibility studies of low- and zero-emission solutions in maritime contexts.
Techno-economic modelling of fuel and technology options.
Assess barriers and drivers for transitioning to low-GHG fuels and tech.
Assist clients (shipping companies, authorities) in developing environmental strategies.
Prepare clear, well-structured analyses and reports.
Support client engagement and business development activities.
