Senior Sales Manager (f/m/d) Nordic Power Markets (Oslo & Stockholm based)


This key role requires individuals of excellent caliber who are willing to take up the challenge to develop the EEX’s position in the trading of Nordic Power contracts.

Your Tasks

  1. Developing the EEX Nordic power segment.
  2. Growing the size of the Nordic power market.
  3. Account management for Nordic clients.
  4. Development of new key accounts.
  5. Cross-selling of EEX products to trading members.
  6. Management of on-boarding process (admission) of new trading members.
  7. Participating professionally in projects regarding market and product development. We value the exchange of ideas, being there for each other, and encouraging each other to improve. We call this the: exchange mindset.
Your Skills

  1. The drive to take ownership and develop a market.
  2. Skilled knowledge of energy commodity trading.
  3. Excellent contacts in the power trading community, especially in Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
  4. Proven professional experience, ideally in exchanges, brokerages, clearing houses, banks, commodity trading houses, utility trading desks, or origination.
  5. Ideally, experience in developing exchange-traded products.
  6. Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  7. Fluency in other European languages.
  8. The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  9. Target-driven attitude.
  10. Strong negotiation skills and motivation.
  11. A positive character that contributes to good team spirit.
  12. Accountability for decisions made.
