Position Summary

As a Senior Regional Director of Enterprise and Global Accounts, you will be responsible for leading and scaling a talented team of Account Managers for the Nordics region to help drive the overall revenue growth of Bentley Systems and improve user engagement. Responsibilities include managing, leading, and helping your team close strategic Bentley opportunities within the region. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of sales experience, excellent organizational, communication, and selling skills. This role aims to improve current sales objectives and develop new strategies by leveraging metrics and analyzing trends to grow Bentley’s customer base and exceed quotas for the Nordics region.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for the region.
  • Engage with Bentley teams to identify and unlock value within large accounts.
  • Responsible for the growth of your account base and sales team, enabling complex deal transactions with revenue accountability.
  • Drive the sales process, manage pipeline metrics, and report to senior management.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain top industry-aligned sales talent.
  • Set a leadership example, uphold Bentley culture and values, and deliver business results with discipline and accuracy.
  • Coach the team by defining strategies, objectives, and outcomes, adapting to product innovations and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to create and implement policies supporting the business.
  • Manage and develop Account Managers, supporting their growth and understanding their career goals.
  • Set and monitor individual sales targets and goals.

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in infrastructure software.
  • At least 10 years of experience leading high-performing sales teams, preferably in enterprise software.
  • Strong leadership skills managing large teams and multiple management layers.
  • Experience working with marketing, product teams, and internal stakeholders to achieve sales goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for complex topics and relationship building.
  • Influencing skills and results delivery in a matrixed organization.
  • Project management leadership experience.
  • Ability to understand technical aspects of the business and products.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • High personal integrity and organizational discipline.
