Job summary

Ōura is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to drive end-to-end testing across mobile apps, cloud services, and data pipelines. You will own test automation, validate data flows from ring devices to insights, and work with cross-functional teams across the US and Finland to deliver high-quality products.

The role emphasizes test strategy, automation, collaboration, and ongoing quality improvements in a hybrid setup out of our San Francisco office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in QA and test automation for complex apps.
• Experience with end-to-end testing across mobile, backend, and data pipelines.
• Experience testing health/wearable or data-driven apps is a strong plus.
• Embedded firmware and Bluetooth testing is a plus.
• Strong debugging and data-driven issue analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end test strategies for mobile, backend, and data/algorithm flows.
• Manual and automated testing, defect reporting, and regression testing.
• Automate tests and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality from design to release.
• Create and maintain test data, environments, and monitoring dashboards.
