Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong experience building production-quality Python software.
• Comfortable working in Linux-heavy development environments.
• Experience in backend software engineering, developer tooling, engineering tooling, DevOps tooling, or test automation.
• Strong interest in end-to-end testing and software quality.
• Quality-first approach to building systems and engineering environments that remain reliable as they scale.
• Ability to work effectively with complex engineering systems and real-world product behaviour.
• Experience developing Python-based test automation or engineering/developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-quality Python software across automation, internal tooling, and supporting infrastructure.
• Build and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks and suites.
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing environments and supporting automation.
• Design maintainable internal systems that improve engineering reliability and software quality.
• Build tooling that surfaces failures clearly and supports effective debugging and resolution.
• Work closely with real products, hardware, and operational behaviour.
• Contribute to the engineering infrastructure and developer environment supporting scalable delivery.
• Spend the majority of your time designing, writing, testing, and improving production-quality code.
