Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join its Engineering team. You will work on new product development and product maintenance, ensuring our software releases meet customer quality expectations.

Responsibilities include developing test procedures and automated scripts for units and systems, qualifying software and embedded algorithms, and leading test activities when needed. You will collaborate with project managers and engineers in a multidisciplinary environment, using strong

Qualifications

• Proven track record in testing and test methods.
• Engineering degree or technical college in electronics, software, sensors, mechatronics or related field.
• Ability to lead test efforts and direct work on test activities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop test procedures and automated scripts for units and systems.
• Qualify and test software, algorithms and embedded systems.
• Lead test teams on an ad hoc basis.
• Review colleagues' work and provide guidance.
• Ensure software quality through testing of new and existing implementations.
• Build automated test tools for smarter testing and better coverage.
