Job summary

Dovre Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer to join our central process team in Stavanger. The role supports assets by integrating major projects and ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

You will drive continuous improvement, work with experts in other disciplines, and help develop digital tools to improve ways of working. Offshore travel is possible under the role.

Candidates should hold a Master of Science and have 5+ years in oil and gas and fluency in English and Norwegian.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years' oil and gas experience preferred.
• Experience from operations.
• Experience with process simulation tools (Hysys, UniSim).
• Fluent in English and Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Verify operating procedures.
• Optimize production and debottlenecking of the facility.
• Support operations and project teams with process expertise; contribute to EQ and MOC.
• Participate in Hazop/LOPA/SORA, barrier mapping, and root cause analysis (5-Why).
• Contribute to digital solutions and tools to improve ways of working.

Location: Stavanger, the role is based onshore but may be subjected to some offshore travelling.

The client`s Process team is seeking a Process Engineer. The work will be to support assets integrating the major projects currently in execution.

The role is part of the central process team – and will work for the relevant asset.

In this role, you will be responsible for safe, efficient, and reliable operations within the framework of our business management systems and relevant standards and requirements within the process discipline. You will drive continuous improvement within the team, and work in close collaboration with experts in other disciplines to ensure the best solutions.

Typical Work Tasks Can Be

• Verification of operating procedures.
• Production optimization and debottlenecking of the facility.
• Support operations team and project team with process competence. Contribute to engineering and technical queries (EQ) and Management of Change (MOC)
• Participate in risk assessments such as Hazop / LOPA / SORA, barrier mapping, and root cause analysis (5-Why).
• Give input to the development of digital solutions and tools to improve ways of working .

Requirements

• Master of Science in relevant discipline
• Preferably 5+ years’ work experience within oil and gas (Less experience Will also be considered)
• Experience from operations
• Experience with process simulation tools such as Hysys / UniSim
• Good knowledge of relevant requirements, Norwegian and International Standards
• It is desirable that you are able to travel offshore in this position
• Fluent abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
