Job summary

IKM in Stavanger is seeking a seasoned process engineer to support front-end and detailed design within Oil & Gas projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. You will perform simulations, dimension piping and equipment, and prepare P&ID and design reports, working in multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor in Chemistry or Process Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant NCS experience, and hands-on use of HYSYS, UniSim or Flarenet, with strong offshore/process control

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry or process engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in process engineering within Oil & Gas on the NCS.
• Proven experience with EPCIC, FEED, and early study projects.
• Deep knowledge of offshore processes, utility systems, and process control.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate process simulations.
• Execute preliminary and detailed process design.
• Calculate and dimension piping, valves, and process equipment.
• Prepare P&ID, line lists, and design reports.
• Collaborate effectively in multi-discipline project teams.
• Participate actively in HAZOP, design reviews, and safety assessments.
