Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience (FEED and/or detailed engineering).
• Experience from Greenfield or Brownfield projects.
• Experience in the chemical process industry, preferably in acid/solvent recovery, distillation, or process safety.
• Proactive approach with excellent communication skills and high commitment to deadlines and quality.
• Physically present at the office in Asker.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review process deliverables including process design basis, PFDs, UFDs, and P&IDs.
• Develop heat and mass balances, process simulations, and equipment sizing calculations.
• Produce process datasheets, specifications, and process safety evaluations / SAT tables.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Interact with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, HAZIDs, SIL assessments, and other safety studies.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory demands.
• Support project execution with a strong focus on quality, schedule, and cost performance.
