Zusammenfassung

IKM Consultants AS in Stavanger is seeking a Process Engineer to support offshore projects on the NCS. You will perform and evaluate process simulations, design piping and equipment, and prepare P&ID and design reports.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor in Chemistry or process-related engineering, 5+ years in oil & gas, and experience with EPCIC/FEED and simulation tools such as HYSYS, UniSim, and Flarenet. Excellent collaboration and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate process simulations.
• Execute preliminary and detailed process design.
• Calculate and dimension piping, valves, and process equipment.
• Prepare P&ID, line lists, and design reports.
• Collaborate effectively in multi-discipline project teams.
• Participate actively in HAZOP, design reviews, and safety assessments.

Required expertise

• Master or Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Process-related Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry on the NCS.
• Proven experience with EPCIC, FEED, and early study projects.
• Strong competence in simulation tools such as HYSYS, UniSim, and/or Flarenet.
• Deep knowledge of offshore process, utility systems, and process control.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, including NORSOK, PSA, and API standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and systematic working habits.

Work schedule: Full-time (100%)
