Job summary

Ikm Gruppen AS in Stavanger is seeking a highly experienced Process Engineer for the Oil & Gas sector. You will perform and evaluate process simulations, execute preliminary and detailed process design, and dimension piping and equipment for onshore/offshore projects.

You will prepare P&IDs, line lists, and design reports while collaborating across multi-discipline teams and contributing to HAZOP and safety assessments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of process engineering experience in Oil & Gas on the NCS.
• Experience with EPCIC, FEED, and early study projects.
• Knowledge of offshore processes and process control.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English.

Required expertise

• Master or Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Process-related Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry on the NCS.
• Proven experience with EPCIC, FEED, and early study projects.
• Strong competence in simulation tools such as HYSYS, UniSim, and/or Flarenet.
• Deep knowledge of offshore process, utility systems, and process control.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, including NORSOK, PSA, and API standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and systematic working habits.

Language: Norwegian and English
