Job summary

Overwatch in Norway seeks a Senior Planner / Scheduler to lead integrated project scheduling for data centre developments. You will craft and maintain schedules from pre-construction through handover, coordinating across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, ICT, and Commissioning disciplines.

This owner-side role demands expert scheduling, risk identification, and milestone delivery, working with contractors and consultants to ensure timely project execution.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in project planning or scheduling within large-scale construction or data centre projects.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 is essential.
• Experience with MS Project or Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and delivery methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules across all design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Produce baseline programmes, progress updates, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
• Perform critical path analysis and mitigate schedule risks.
• Review contractor programmes for logic and resource loading.
• Monitor progress and report variances to leadership.
• Coordinate planning across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, ICT, and Commissioning teams.
• Support earned value analysis, forecasting, and schedule reporting.
• Lead planning meetings and drive cross-disciplinary alignment.
• Promote best practice planning and continuous improvement.
