Job summary

Noble is a leading offshore drilling contractor seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer or Oiler to maintain and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on offshore assets. The role requires a valid unlimited 3rd/Assistant Engineer license and strong diagnostic skills.

You will work within Noble's Maintenance System, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable vessel operations. Previous PMS experience and the ability to supervise junior staff are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of offshore 3rd Engineer or Oiler experience.
• Unlimited 3rd/Assistant Engineer license (Steam, Gas Turbine or Diesel).
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Strong pneumatic and hydraulic systems knowledge.
• Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Systems.
• Familiarity with Noble Maintenance System.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment per standards.
• Oversee modifications and repairs as directed.
• Maintain vessel drawings and preventative maintenance records.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; diagnose malfunctions.
• Supervise unlicensed engineering personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
