Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is seeking a Commissioning System Responsible Instrument and/or SAS for a long-term assignment based at the Stord Site (Stavanger and offshore) on the client’s project. The role covers planning, execution and supervision of commissioning activities for designated systems, ensuring safe, efficient handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Experience from NORSOK projects.
• System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding
• SAS logic and SCD knowledge is a major advantage.
• SAS dynamic simulator experience is a major advantage.
• Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and ability to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills.
• Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems; experience with PIMS is an advantage.
• Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise Completion and Commissioning activities for designated systems.
• Coordinate input to systems connected to designated systems.
• Plan and execute commissioning in a safe, efficient and timely manner according to project plans.
• Ensure safe handover of plant and equipment to Asset Operations on completion.
• Review documentation and drawings relevant to MC and commissioning.
• Estimate and plan commissioning scope onshore and offshore.
• Lead a team of commissioning engineers and technicians to timely execution.
• Update progress in the project system (PIMS).
• Develop and implement commissioning procedures.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure HSSE-focused execution.
• Plan ATS calls and FATs at supplier sites.
• Ensure spare parts and special tools are available.
• Plan first fills and provide leadership on health and safety.
• Plan commissioning support and transitions to operations.
