Kongsberg Maritime is seeking a Senior Engineer in the Advanced Marine Operations (AMO) department to deliver complex projects, uphold high technical standards, and mentor junior engineers. You will drive innovation in modeling, simulation and digital tooling while supporting global offshore operations.
The role involves on-site work at Lysaker with some remote flexibility and travel as required, contributing to cutting-edge marine and offshore wind analyses and tender input.
Qualifikationen
- Master's degree or higher in engineering or the sciences.
- 3–5 years of offshore or marine engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of Python, data analysis and simulation tools.
- Experience with drawing and 3D modeling tools (AutoCAD, Rhino, Autodesk) is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Aufgaben
- Execute engineering projects in AMO from planning through delivery.
- Perform advanced modeling and simulation of marine systems (structures, vessels, risers, cables).
- Develop and implement digital tools and data-driven processes.
- Provide technical input for tenders and client communication.
- Support offshore operations and participate in international project assignments as needed.
- Seize offshore work opportunities for those interested.
