Job summary

A.G. Rhodes is a non-profit organization located in Cobb County, Georgia. We are seeking a Full-time Maintenance Assistant for our Marietta community to support the Maintenance Director and oversee daily plant operations, ensuring safety and reliability.

The role covers Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a rotating weekend on call, totaling 40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package to support our compassionate elder care mission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of Maintenance experience required.
• One year of Maintenance experience in LTC/Skilled nursing community preferred.
• Experience in a Person-Directed Care environment preferred.
• Practical knowledge of day-to-day maintenance and physical plant upkeep.
• Genuine passion for working with elders and safe operation.
• Knowledge of health care regulations related to Federal/State/JCAHO surveys preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Director to support Plant Operations.
• Maintain and repair building systems and equipment.
• Support safety and emergency preparedness for the community.
• Provide reliable, courteous service to staff and residents.
• Coordinate with team to manage daily maintenance tasks.
