Job summary

Capital One seeks an experienced iOS Software Engineer to drive mobile platform transformation and deliver high-quality iOS solutions. You will build and ship robust iOS code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall mobile strategy in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor teammates, stay current with Swift and related technologies, and help advocate for mobile across teams while delivering impact at scale. This role offers opportunities across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 6+ years in software engineering (internship not counted).
• 4+ years of people management experience.
• 4+ years of iOS applications development.
• 3+ years of Swift experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to engineering best practices.
• Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, QA, and Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high-performing user experiences.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies and ensure team commitments are met.
• Mentor junior to mid-level team members.
• Engage with developers across disciplines and lead major components with senior engineers.
