Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to help us build the DNB Integration Platform. The role focuses on designing, building and governing scalable integration solutions using Kafka and Flink on Kubernetes to support data streaming initiatives.

You will work with Architects, Product Owners and Operations to deliver robust, self-service data pipelines and integration patterns across the bank. Fluent English is required; Norwegian is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or data integration.
• Hands-on delivery of distributed and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on with Kafka and Flink on Kubernetes.
• Experience with stream-processing frameworks and Flink SQL.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian skills are a plus.
• Good knowledge of IaC and GitOps practices (Flux).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and govern the integration platform.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Operations engineers and other Developers.
• Support and onboard teams to the integration platform, proposing apps, APIs and data streams.
• Contribute to self-service platform and share best practices.
