Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Manager to own the devices and infrastructure at our AI data center in Glomfjord. You will ensure 24/7 reliability, lead a team of engineers, and coordinate with clients and vendors to meet SLA and KPI targets.

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Operations, you will manage power, cooling, HPC and GPU systems, drive improvements in availability and cost-efficiency, and ensure seamless operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of data center experience.

Responsibilities

• Site & Infrastructure Management: oversee all devices, systems, and infrastructure at the data center.
• Team Leadership & Development: lead and mentor engineers, plan shift coverage, ensure on-call readiness.
• Client & Vendor Relations: be the primary POC for clients, manage procurement and upgrades.
• Inventory & Resource Management: track spare parts, manage stock to minimize downtime.
• Technical Expertise: maintain HPC/GPU installations and optimize performance.
• Operational Monitoring & Reporting: implement monitoring tools and report performance metrics.
