Senior Hydraulic Engineer

Your Role:
As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will:

• Design and calculate hydraulic systems and components aligned with international marine and offshore industry standards.
• Prepare Hydraulic Flow Diagrams, bills of material, technical documentation, test procedures, and engineering reports.
• Lead and contribute to development projects, influencing innovative products and system solutions.
• Standardize hydraulic systems and components to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Provide technical support to Aftermarket, FE, Sales teams, and customers.
• Take charge of cross-functional tasks and internal activities.
• Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams within NOV.
• Embrace and promote a culture of safety, sustainability, equality, and diversity.
• Travel occasionally to support projects and customers globally.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Preferably 5 years of relevant experience, though recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of advanced hydraulic theory and its practical application in designing complex circuits.
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems and components.
• Experience with hydraulic systems for land and offshore drill floor equipment is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic components and industry suppliers.
• Understanding of relevant regulations (ISO, DNV, ABS, PED, SAE, ANSI).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts clearly.
