Your Role

As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will:

1. Design and calculate hydraulic systems and components aligned with international marine and offshore industry standards.
2. Prepare Hydraulic Flow Diagrams, bills of material, technical documentation, test procedures, and engineering reports.
3. Lead and contribute to development projects, influencing innovative products and system solutions.
4. Standardize hydraulic systems and components to enhance efficiency and consistency.
5. Provide technical support to Aftermarket, FE, Sales teams, and customers.
6. Take charge of cross-functional tasks and internal activities.
7. Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams within NOV.
8. Embrace and promote a culture of safety, sustainability, equality, and diversity.
9. Travel occasionally to support projects and customers globally.

What We’re Looking For

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).
2. Preferably 5 years of relevant experience, though recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. Strong knowledge of advanced hydraulic theory and its practical application in designing complex circuits.
4. Familiarity with pneumatic systems and components.
5. Experience with hydraulic systems for land and offshore drill floor equipment is a plus.
6. In-depth knowledge of hydraulic components and industry suppliers.
7. Understanding of relevant regulations (ISO, DNV, ABS, PED, SAE, ANSI).
8. Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong computer skills.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts clearly.
