Job summary

The Norwegian group, a leading Nordic aviation company, seeks a Senior Group Controller to lead IFRS consolidation, reporting, and system improvements across the group. You will coordinate audits, ensure high-quality financial statements, and drive process enhancements with Cognos Controller and ERP platforms like Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP.

Ideal candidate has a Master’s in Finance or Accounting, 5+ years in a multinational setting or Big 4, excellent English, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or related field.
• 5+ years in group accounting/controlling in a multinational or Big 4.
• Up-to-date IFRS knowledge with lease accounting and business combinations helpful.
• Strong consolidation systems experience (Cognos Controller) and ERP familiarity (Dynamics 365, SAP).
• Excellent written and verbal English; Scandinavian language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation and reporting under IFRS.
• Drive development and automation of consolidation and reporting systems.
• Coordinate group financial audits with external auditors.
• Oversee consolidated and parent company financial statements and notes.
• Support IFRS compliance projects and accounting memos for complex transactions.
• Strengthen ICFR and drive best practices in financial processes.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior controllers.
