Job summary

GE Vernova's Hydro Service is seeking a Lead Service Engineer specializing in generator rehabilitation to be the primary technical partner for Norwegian customers throughout the project lifecycle. You will drive diagnostic work, design and execution, and warranty close-out while growing GE Vernova's generator rehabilitation business in Norway.

You will collaborate across engineering, supply chain, construction, and project management to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions and maintain

Qualifications

• Broad experience in hydroelectric or rotating machinery engineering.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to engage with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead offer development and ensure technical viability within cost and schedule.
• Own project execution and provide on-site technical delivery and support.
• Coordinate with engineering centres, supply chain, construction and project management.
• Conduct site inspections and support commissioning, testing and performance verification.
• Drive commercial development and build customer relationships in Norway.
