Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is a leading supplier of skilled project personnel in the oil and gas, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors. The Oslo-based assignment focuses on electrical discipline development, technical follow-up, and value engineering for multi-discipline industrial projects with travel between Oslo and Sunndalsøra.

The role requires a Master of Science or equivalent and at least five years in similar projects, with strong HV/LV knowledge and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master of Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years on multi-discipline industrial projects (new builds and modifications).
• Good knowledge of statutory regulations.
• Strong understanding of HV/LV distribution in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of aluminium plant processes is advantageous.
• Proficient in English and basic Norwegian or other Scandinavian language.

Responsibilities

• Ensure detail level for technical studies to support project milestones.
• Supervise development of Electrical discipline including concepts.
• Follow-up and verify specifications, diagrams, and documents by the engineering contractor.
• Lead discipline follow-up of technical clarifications.
• Participate in technical evaluation, concept selection and value engineering.
• Supervise discipline in developing viable concepts for brownfield scope.
• Provide input for estimation of selected solutions.
• Supervise documentation production for procurement processes.
• Communicate and clarify discipline activities to interfacing processes.
• Report progress within discipline and notify resource needs.
• Participate in technical and system reviews.
• Ensure regulatory and Company requirements are addressed in area of responsibility.
• Plan and perform examination and verification activities, coordinating with others.
• Ensure experience transfer and follow-up mitigation actions.
