Job summary

Hayfin Capital Management in London is seeking a senior Full-Stack Engineer to own the analytics workbench, building frontend in Angular and backend in Python (FastAPI). You will shape data-driven workflows for decision making and coordinate with a small offshore team.

You bring 8+ years delivering enterprise software, strong Python with pandas and NumPy, API design with FastAPI, Angular and modern UI libraries, plus experience hosting on Azure and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and managing enterprise-grade software.
• 8+ years with Python, including pandas and NumPy; 5+ years building APIs with FastAPI.
• 5+ years with Angular and UI libraries such as Material or Bootstrap.
• Experience hosting and managing applications on Azure, and building solutions on Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants as part of a development workflow.
• Clear communicator, comfortable with non-technical stakeholders.
• Financial services experience is a plus, in asset management or fintech.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the analytics workflow app, using Angular on the front end and Python (FastAPI) on the back end.
• Build data pipelines and models using pandas and NumPy, working with Snowflake and Azure to store and serve data securely.
• Coordinate offshore vendor team: setting priorities, assigning work, reviewing output, and tracking hours and spend.
• Use AI coding assistants as part of daily development work, and improve how the team builds, tests, and ships software.
• Work directly with the Director of Portfolio Analytics and business stakeholders, translating requirements into working software.
