Job summary

Cititec is seeking a Senior Front Office Developer to design and build front‑office tools supporting trading teams across power, gas and wider energy markets. You will work closely with traders and commercial teams to translate immediate business requirements into robust software solutions.

You’ll develop front‑office applications, dashboards, and workflow automation, while integrating market data and calculation engines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development with Python and C#, delivering front-office, trading or analytical tools.
• Direct collaboration with traders, analysts or commercial teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Solid understanding of energy/commodities trading, especially power and gas.
• Experience with market and trading data, including integration and transformation.
• Dashboard and analytical tool development, plus optimization or hedging capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front‑office tools and applications for trading teams.
• Build dashboards, analytical apps, and workflow automation to support decisions.
• Create data ingestion, processing and transformation pipelines from multiple sources.
• Integrate tools with calculation engines, optimisers and trading platforms.
• Develop rapid, tactical solutions while maintaining clean, scalable code.
