Job summary

Modis seeks a Commercial Finance Manager to lead planning, forecasting and long-term financial planning in a high-volume, multi-site environment in West London.

You will partner with senior operational and commercial leaders, challenge performance drivers, and influence major investment decisions. This role goes beyond reporting, demanding clear recommendations and hands-on model-building with automation focus.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with FP&A or finance business partnering experience.
• Ability to understand drivers of performance and confidently form a view.
• Experience in a high-volume, multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Partner senior operational and commercial leaders across the business.
• Analyse revenue, volume, labour, headcount and performance.
• Identify what is driving performance and turn analysis into recommendations.
• Challenge forecasts, costs and proposed actions with stakeholders.
• Evaluate Capex and Opex investment cases, including payback.
• Identify and track cost-saving and revenue-growth opportunities.
• Support senior management and Board reporting.
• Build and improve financial models across revenue, labour, headcount and cash flow.
• Work across Operations, Procurement, Financial Accounting and Transactional Finance.
• Support strategic and commercially focused projects.
• Improve forecasting, reporting, systems and automation across finance.
