Duties and responsibilities

Are you enthusiastic about engineering and shipbuilding?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to take on a key role in project coordination and detailed design for complex shipbuilding projects. The successful candidate will lead technical execution, coordinate teams, and ensure the seamless integration of systems and equipment within the vessel design. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Project Coordination and Execution: Manage and coordinate detailed design activities across engineering disciplines to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Lead Outfitting Design Teams: Take ownership of the outfitting scope, guiding a multidisciplinary team through the detailed design and development of ship outfitting solutions.
• System Design and Integration: Oversee the design and integration of ship systems to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Equipment Integration: Ensure proper integration of equipment into the overall ship design, collaborating closely with suppliers, production teams, and classification societies.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in ship design or similar
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Experience with rules and regulations related to design and shipbuilding
• Good knowledge of English, both oral and written
• Maritime industry interest
• Ability to solve complex issues in a structured manner with multiple stakeholders
• Good cooperation and communication skills
• Multidisciplinary overview and understanding
