Job summary

Sensio, a Norwegian care-technology company, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to advance RoomMate. You will work on embedded C++ software on Linux, collaborating with hardware, product and design teams to improve performance and robustness in real care environments.

Based in Sandvika or Oslo, with some travel, you will own complex technical challenges from definition to solution, mentor peers, contribute to architectural decisions, and help push safety, privacy and reliability in

Qualifications

Very experienced with C++ and embedded software development in Linux environments, preferably using Yocto.
Experienced within Hardware in the Loop testing.
Good judgement balancing technical quality, product needs and constraints.
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and shares knowledge.
A product-oriented thinker who understands how technology impacts the end user.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain embedded software in C++ on Linux.
Collaborate with hardware, product, design and engineering to shape RoomMate's next generation.
Own complex technical challenges from problem definition to working solutions.
Contribute to product discovery and technical decision-making.
Improve quality, reliability, performance and maintainability in real care environments.
Support engineering culture through knowledge-sharing and mentoring.
