Job summary

Sensio is seeking a Dev Lead for RoomMate to steer the technical direction, quality and delivery of a sensor-enabled care platform. You will lead a team of eight engineers, coordinate with product, ML, hardware and engineering colleagues, and help set priorities and long-term strategy.

The role combines deep embedded software expertise with people leadership. You will discuss embedded Linux, C++, sensors and edge ML, translate constraints into clear priorities, and drive architectural decisions

Qualifications

Strong experience with embedded software development, preferably from a product environment.
Solid C++ and Linux or embedded Linux competence.
Experience with software and hardware products in operation, where reliability, quality and maintainability matter.
Experience with technical leadership, architecture or team responsibility in complex software/hardware environments.

Responsibilities

Lead the RoomMate development team and take responsibility for technical direction, quality, priorities and delivery.
Set technical direction and help the team make architectural and product decisions.
Drive quality, progress and delivery across embedded software, hardware-related development and product improvements.
Collaborate with other Dev Leads, product, design and engineering colleagues to deliver value.
Lead discussions on embedded Linux, C++, sensors, edge ML and hardware constraints and translate constraints into priorities.
