Senior Embedded Developer

Due to high demand from our clients with interesting and mission-critical projects, we are now looking for new Mavericks to join our team in 2026.

About the role

We are looking for experienced developers with 5+ years of experience in embedded software or firmware to join our growing team in Norway.

We don't expect you to be an expert in everything below, but we are seeking deep professional experience in one or several of these areas:

• Programming: Professional-level C/C++, Embedded Linux, RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX), or bare-metal development.
• Hardware interfacing: Development of low-level drivers and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS485, Ethernet, USB).
• System architecture: Deep understanding of hardware-near concepts like memory management, timing, and resource optimization.
• Tooling and automation: Proficiency with build systems (CMake, Yocto, Buildroot), scripting (Python, Bash), and cross-compilation workflows.
• Debugging and quality: Expertise in hardware debugging (JTAG, GDB, Logic Analyzers) and modern CI/CD processes using Git.

It is a great advantage if you have experience with:

• IoT and integration: Sensor integration and wireless communication
• Testing and security: Unit testing and test automation, Secure Boot, and OTA update mechanisms

• Fluency in both Norwegian and English
• Readiness to work in a hybrid model depending on the client’s needs (min. 4 days/month at our Oslo office or a client's office in Oslo, Asker, Horten or Kongsberg).

Many of our projects are mission-critical for Norway’s infrastructure and security. Therefore, it is a plus if you are eligible for a Norwegian security clearance.
