Overview

We are currently in an exciting phase with several large development projects, and we're seeking talented individuals to help us shape the technology for Kongsberg Maritimes world class products.

In the role as Senior Electronics Development Engineer in our Hardware & FPGA department, you will be part of a vibrant and highly competent team that develops electronics and electro-mechanics for our Automation and Control product portfolio. You get the opportunity to apply your knowledge in both large and small development projects, in collaboration with software developers and system architects. You will follow products through the whole lifecycle, from idea to design, development, testing and maintenance.

What you will be doing
  • Participate in concept studies and prototyping.
  • Lead specification, architecture and design.
  • Create schematics and simulations.
  • Perform testing and documentation.
  • Collaborate on integration of electronics in systems with FPGA, software and mechanics.
  • Maintain designs and products through the whole lifecycle.
We think you should have
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within electronics, cybernetics or other relevant areas.
  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:
    • Embedded design (E.g. Ethernet, PCIe, DDR 4/5)
    • Digital, Analog or Power Electronics
    • Functional Safety / Reliability
    • EMC
    • Simulation
    • Experience with PCB design is an advantage but not a requirement.
