Job summary

IKM Consultants AS is seeking a Project Engineer for a December 2025 to June 2026 assignment in Norway. The role focuses on electrical safety, PEM, and coordination with grid owners, with a rotational work schedule (13/15) and on-site work in Årskog or Børdalen.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety regulations (FSE, FEK, FEF, NEK EN 50110), verifying qualifications, and maintaining facilities to meet regulatory requirements, while reporting to the superior authorized person.

Qualifications

• Minimum trade certificate as an electrician or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with current regulations and internal procedures.
• Competence in the Project Execution Model (PEM).
• Ability to handle emergency situations and follow established routines.
• Structured, solution-oriented, proactive with execution capacity.
• Strong collaboration and communication across disciplines and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety regulations (FSE, FEK, FEF, NEK EN 50110).
• Verify qualifications and training for personnel working with electrical, instrument, automation and telecom systems.
• Ensure energization, testing and work on electrical systems follow safety standards.
• Implement routines for live electrical systems before initial energization.
• Operate and maintain facilities to meet regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with grid owners and external parties throughout the project.
• Monitor ongoing work to align with specifications and appoint approved personnel for tasks.
• Report to the superior authorized person, highlighting challenges and irregularities.
