Job summary

IKM Consultants AS in Bergen is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design solutions that meet customer requirements and follow up on equipment packages.

You will collaborate with disciplines, suppliers and clients, participate in studies and execution projects, and bring 5+ years of maintenance and modification experience in Oil & Gas. English is required and Norwegian is an advantage. This is a full-time, long-term position based in Bergen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field; technical college with extensive experience may count.
• 5+ years of maintenance and modification project experience.
• Oil & Gas industry experience; preferably with Equinor as client.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Basic EX course (22.5 hours classroom or 6-8 hours online).
• FSE high and low voltage certification, including first aid.
• Basic safety training (GSK) with helicopter escape and a valid health certificate.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on equipment packages.
• Design solutions according to customer requirements.
• Follow up on suppliers and technical documentation, and participate in testing activities/FAT.
• Collaborate with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients.
• Participate in studies and execution projects.
