Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS seeks a Lead Engineer- Control Systems to govern the global control-system discipline, define architectures, and drive lifecycle management across projects and regions. You will lead technical reviews, ensure compliance with standards, and mentor engineers to raise reliability and cybersecurity of critical assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in a related engineering field with extensive automation experience.
• 10+ years in industrial automation and control systems.
• Experience in governance, lifecycle practices, and standards development.

Responsibilities

• Own the global control-system discipline standards and provide technical approval within governance processes.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures for PLC/SCADA, HMI, instrumentation, networks and integrated control systems.
• Define redundancy, failover and recovery principles for critical control-system functions.
• Lead technical reviews, RCA of recurring failures, and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into standards.
• Drive technology roadmaps, and standardization priorities across regions and projects.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate internal and external engineering activities.
