Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead on-site delivery for a Data Centre project in Norway. The role requires coordinating contract performance, HSEQS compliance, and stakeholder engagement while driving value and profitability.

The ideal candidate has extensive civil engineering project management experience, strong knowledge of NEC3/JCT contracts, and a Chartered construction qualification with leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ civil engineering project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC3 and JCT contracts; sustainability standards (BREEAM/LEED/CEEQUAL).
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Analytical, methodical approach with strong commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction: develop programmes, contract submissions, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with QS on major expenditures and subcontract schedule.
• Chair start-up meetings and manage early health, safety and logistics.
• Lead construction delivery: manage project execution, risk, HSEQS, design, and reporting.
• Oversee subcontractor and commercial management; monitor progress and costs.
• Post-construction: defect management, final accounts, and close-out.
