Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Project Director to lead and manage data centre construction in Norway. You will oversee complex contracts typically valued over £60m, from tender stage through to project execution, ensuring safety, quality and value delivery.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will build the project team, drive strategic delivery plans and supervise commercial reviews while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Professional membership (CIOB or RICS) preferred.
• IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for successful operational delivery, financial performance and risk management of assigned projects.
• Lead project teams and coordinate with commercial, design and construction functions.
• Manage client, subcontractor and stakeholder relationships to align goals, timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and governance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate contracts, review commercial positions and support claims management when needed.
