Headquartered in Oslo Norway, Rystad Energy is a rapidly growing companyrepresented in more than 30 countries. The EMEA Commercial team is now seeking a dynamic individual to join our Oslo team as a Senior Client Success Manager (CSM) responsible for fostering lasting client relationships and being a trusted advisor to our subscribers and users. You will collaborate with various Account Managers on a portfolio of customers to ensure each relationship is growing and developing in alignment with our business strategy and goals.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in customer success, account management and/or business analysis, ideally within the energy sector (oil, gas, renewables, carbon markets, energy transition). The candidate should be passionate and motivated to deliver value through customer engagement, onboarding, training, and building strategic relationships. The role performance will be measured across metrics on client retention, user advocacy, Net Promoter Score, client expansion and the proactive contribution in building our Client Success best practices and protocols.

Tasks include working directly with users and key stakeholders to build and increase product adoption, uncover the need for new services, and strengthen partnerships across organizations. You will get the opportunity to execute product-driven and segment-focused client retention and growth strategies, as well ashelping clients realize the full value of Rystad Energy’s solutions to support them succeed on their business outcomes. You will also work closely with internal cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, market research and training specialists to drive engagement and expansion across your client remit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Become a trusted partner to our clients and serve as primary after-sales point of contact, with special focus on onboarding, training and strategic support
  • Jointly define success criteria with clients by understanding their business challenges and goals
  • Together with account managers, design and execute Engagement plans that set the strategy for adoption, retention and growth
  • Develop an understanding of Rystad Energy products and services and proactively help identify areas of improvement to increase market share and penetration.
  • Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure client’s technical/analytical needs are resolved in a successful and timely manner
  • Proactively contribute to the regional and global strategy and success of the Client Success team
  • Participate in industry and networking events to grow the Rystad Energy brand and footprint
  • Maintain and leverage all client data and interaction records in the CRM system
Skills & Attributes for Success
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in relevant industries: Engineering, Commercial, Strategy, M&A, Consulting, Market analysis, etc.
  • Passionate about developing close relationships with customers and enabling their long-term success.
  • Proven knowledge in global energy markets and regional trends
  • Proven experience working with market intelligence and database software
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and Power BI is an advantage
  • Strong focus on collaboration and teamwork across functions and regions
  • Ability to work independently at times, be self-driven and resourceful
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Power Point and Excel)
