Cegal EnergyX in Stavanger seeks a Senior Business Consultant to help energy companies unlock value from hydrocarbon data. You will map processes, identify opportunities, and drive change initiatives in agile teams, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

You will analyze customer needs, deliver projects from analysis through implementation, maintain installations, and build strong relationships while staying current with industry trends and innovations in cloud data solutions.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant master’s or bachelor’s degree; professional experience welcomed.
• Solid experience from a similar Senior Advisory role in energy tech.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with Hydrocarbon Accounting or equivalent domain knowledge.
• Ability to translate technical and business knowledge into insights.
• Proven track record delivering projects from analysis through implementation.

Senior Business Consultant

Do you have experience in Hydrocarbon Accounting and a passion for helping energy companies make better use of their data? Would you like to deliver next-generation data solutions for the energy industry while acting as a trusted advisor to global energy companies?

Cegal EnergyX was established to build a vertical software portfolio of operational data management solutions developed especially for global energy companies.

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will work in agile teams to conduct process mapping, identify opportunities and challenges, and conduct change-management that delivers real and lasting value for our clients. You will act as a trusted advisor -by actively listening and understanding our customers’ needs and opportunities, you contribute to increase their value creation.

As our Senior Business Consultant, you will:

• Analyze customer needs and recommend relevant solutions.
• Identify challenges and opportunities in close collaboration with the Product Owner and other stakeholders.
• Implement and deliver customer projects.
• Maintain and support existing customer installations.
• Take ownership and accountability of assigned activities.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to support successful project delivery.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a relevant master’s or bachelor’s degree
