Job summary

MDE Group in Fornebu, Norway, seeks a Senior Project Engineer – Automation to lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering advanced automation solutions across energy and process industries, including offshore wind, hydropower, subsea, and power-from-shore projects.

You will plan, design, program, test, and commission automation systems, provide service for installed plants, and collaborate with sales to supply technical input.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in automation engineering.
• Experience with PLC/DCS programming and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver automation solutions.
• Plan, design, program, test, and commission automation systems.
• Provide service support and follow-up for installed systems.
• Configure DCS/PLC/HMI systems including 800xA.
• Collaborate with sales by providing technical input.
• Ensure project execution meets customer, quality, and safety standards.
