Who are we looking for:

We seek Senior Engineers in Automation with a passion for working on projects in Stavanger. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in automation engineering, specifically for projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Fluency in English or Norwegian is required, as the environment is international.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Working with company processes and database management.
  2. Handling systems such as Equinor STID-Loop/Tag/Doc, PIMS, Procosys, SAP-PM06/10, ECP, access@plant.
  3. Developing design and safety-critical documentation like SCDs, Cause and Effects, diagrams, functional specs, IO-lists.
  4. Communicating with clients and suppliers (Norwegian language skills highly appreciated).
  5. Engaging in projects across various phases, including the study phase.
Qualifications:
  1. Master's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  2. Fluent in English or Norwegian.
  3. At least 8 years of experience in automation engineering.
  4. Experience with Equinor offshore/onshore installations and technical requirements.
  5. Knowledge of communication protocols like OPC, Modbus, Profibus.
  6. Understanding of Safety Instrumented Systems from major suppliers.
Additional qualities:
  1. Cooperative working attitude.
  2. Systematic and precise work approach.
  3. High loyalty to deadlines and quality standards.
Certificates (can be obtained in Norway after arrival):
  1. FSE, high/low voltage, with first aid.
  2. EX-course (minimum 6-8 hours online).
  3. Offshore course and health certificate (can be completed later if necessary).
